Location: The Oregon Coast

The Oregon Coast is for photographers. The volatile weather, lush vegetation and dramatic rock formations make it an easy place to photograph (unless you're fighting to cover your camera with a plastic bag during a rainstorm).

Just north of Newport is Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. A lighthouse sits at the end of the park,  jetting out from the shoreline. This park is hands-down one of my favorite places on the Oregon Coast.

Newport has several beaches along the coastline with access to the surf. It's one of my favorite spots, and reminds me of building sea-wood forts with my high school friends.
